Clean, compliant air for every machine on your shop floor.

MistMaster captures oil mist, smoke and sub-micron particulate at the source — with 5-stage filtration as standard on every unit, no tiered upgrades required.

33%
of EAA lung inflammation cases occur among workers exposed to metalworking fluids, coolants and oil mist.
10%
of self-reported respiratory disease is attributed to airborne material from welding, soldering or cutting metal.
44.6
cases of occupational dermatitis per 100,000 workers per year among metalworking machine operatives.

Powerful 5-stage filtration

MistMaster includes all five stages as standard, with no additional add-on costs.

01

Machine flange pre-filter

Catches large droplets and swarf before they clog or damage the unit.

02

Steel net filter

A further layer of protection from large droplets penetrating stage one.

03

Centrifugal fan impeller

Induces a cyclone effect, optimising oil collection efficiency.

04

Vortex chamber

Separates large oil droplets from the air before the final stage.

05

Terminal filter

Special fibres capture sub-micron mist and smoke, returning purified air.

Installation

Flexible mounting, straightforward electrics — we handle the detail.

Mounting options

A dual-angle mounting catch plate enables direct installation onto the machine's roof, side or back panel — ensuring maximum vortex power is applied to particulates without loss through an extended hose.

Machine guarding

Extraction is less effective if a machine isn't adequately guarded. We advise on essential guarding, and can manufacture, supply and install guards as part of the installation process.

Electrical installation

Our smallest units draw less than 2 amps on a 240V supply; even the largest MM-21 draws just over 6 amps. If a standard socket isn't available, we can fit one inside the machine cabinet as part of installation — making isolation simple.

Reduced rates & purchase option: rates halve after two years, with the option to purchase after three.

Fully managed: mandatory Annual Service Plan enrolment keeps your LEV servicing and testing up to date.

REGULATIONS

This isn't optional — it's regulated.

People working in metalworking, milling and machining facilities that use cutting fluids are exposed to the adverse health effects of oil mist and smoke. COSHH regulations require exposure by inhalation, ingestion or skin contact to be prevented where reasonably practicable, or adequately controlled.

Implementing exposure control measures — such as a Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) system like MistMaster — is how you meet that obligation and reduce risk to your team.

COSHH REGULATION 9

LEV systems must be kept in efficient working order. Testing is a legal requirement at least once every 14 months.

YOUR OBLIGATION, HANDLED

We manage the full 5-stage filter replacement, certification, safe disposal, digital job reports and LEV testing — so your LEV testing is never missed.

Frequently asked questions

How energy efficient are the MistMasters?

The MistMaster delivers significant economic advantages over other UK products. Our best-selling model's low operational costs mean you could run up to four units for the same cost as running just one from an alternative leading brand.

What happens if my unit fails?

Every MistMaster comes with a 12-month warranty as standard. Customers enrolled in the Annual Service Plan receive a replacement unit in case of malfunction — a genuine lifetime warranty, terms and conditions apply.

Will I save on coolant?

Yes — the built-in coolant return and refine system captures, cleans and returns coolant to your tank, saving time and money.

Can I buy replacement filters?

Yes, you're welcome to purchase filters and service units yourself. Just follow our detailed instructions and dispose of filters properly, in line with the guidelines in effect at the time.

Can you visit my site and tell me what I need?

Yes — our engineers understand both the legal and technical requirements specific to your situation, and will provide a complete, no-obligation quote focused on the most suitable, cost-efficient solution.
